Jay Howe Metal Detectorist
"Happy To Help"
Hi there, I'm Jay Howe
I am a full time metal detectorist with a real passion for history and conservation. You can read more about me on the dugup website on the "about us" page.
I have over 30 years experience in the field literally and have heaps of knowledge and specialist equipment including under water gear to cope with just about any search you can imagine.
In the year 2002 I teamed up with my Fraternity Brother Paul White under the dugup umbrella to share a website, transport and costs whilst working on my book "Partifact" which is about battlefield Relics and the severe dangers searching the battlefields of Europe.
I am always looking for new places to search and people to search with. If you have an idea for a search or are new to the hobby and need some hands on advice please drop me a mail . It does not matter if you are frail or disabled, there is nothing we can't do together.
I also offer a free recovery service but would like a little towards my fuel cost if you are outside my home town of Worthing West Sussex, England.
Here is a link to a site that offers sound advice that will help you with maximising your find potential and how to clean and conserve any finds you make.
Remember you will find nothing if you detector is under your bed or in a cupBoerd somewhere, get out there, get some air in your lungs and swing that machine !
I have had many adventures treasure hunting all over the globe, you can read about them on the "Adventures" page of the dugup website.
